Junior ML Engineer
Worked with around 30 other Junior/Lead ML Engineers, data scientists, researchers and domain experts on a two-month project in partnership with the Kenya Red Cross, leveraging satellite and drone imagery over a particular time series to assess the environmental, social and economic impact of locusts attacks across Kenya.
Computer Vision Intern
Worked on computer vision techniques to check if proper rules and regulations are being followed by the workers of factories. Did preliminary research and built initial models on facial detection and recognition to work on low powered hardware. Worked on testing and bench-marking deep learning models for solving problems in manufacturing domain.
Research Intern
Worked with Dr. S. Mohapatra, Assistant Professor BIT Mesra to develop an ensemble of three deep learning models - convolutional neural network, siamese network and residual network for classification of three different types of coal. The final ensemble model resulted in an accuracy which was 1.12% better than the best base model accuracy.
